I play in Australia and I use the US servers. One day when I was trying out some pre-built UI's I downloaded the interface and WTF folders suggested and this is when it started to download the enGB file. I later realized the UI I downloaded to try was from an EU server so I believe it changed how my WoW acts.
Even after totally removing the interface and WTF folders I downloaded and replaced them with my original ones it STILL won't play without the enGB folder (which none of my friends need). Everytime I load WoW it tries to download a folder (the enGB one) then when it see's I already have it, it then changes to 'Game is up to date' and let's me play.
Anyone know what file configuration I need to change so I can delete enGB without my WoW wanting me to download it again.

Make sure the link you download from is http://US.battle.net/account/download and not EU.battle.net. Unfortunately, you downloaded the EU version, hence the enGB folder, and you would need to download and install the US version instead.
It wasn't from the b.net website it was from a website designed to help people customize their UI, and plus I deleted what I downloaded and replaced it with the original so I'm not sure why it's still searching for EU files.

The safest way to avoid this is to download the game client which is totally free directly from the Blizzard site and only THEN downloading and customizing your UI to suit your playstyle.
Yea everything I download I check pretty well for anything extra included, im 99% sure my WoW files are fine. I just purely need an answer on what part of my configuration is making my US WoW download the EU files and what to change to get it back to normal, that's all.
Delete the entire WoW folder and redownload and install directly from the US site. Once you have the game client downloaded, make sure you run it as administrator.
I'd rather avoid downloading the entire WoW files again. I was hoping to be told which file to edit to get it working again but it seems that might not happen =/.
Guess i'll re-download it then

I don't have a different client though Flatspriest, my files are US my launcher is US and I play on US servers, but for some reason it won't play without the enGB data files as well.
I never downloaded any EU stuff, i copied someone else's WTF folder and it made my WoW always ensure I have the enGB data files but I don't use them because I don't play on EU.

That involves exiting the game completely, opening the WoW directory, and deleting the WTF, Cache, and Interface folders followed by a reboot of your computer then running the client as administrator.

I will try that thanks.
I think I know exactly what's happened here.
Firstly.
DO NOT REINSTALL.
Realm switching is now done via the config.wtf file. I suspect what's happened here is they've included that file as well , set to the enGB locale.
So hence they launcher's all like 'Imma missing some files.I'm going to download them now'
Open your config.wtf file and make sure you have :
SET locale 'enUS'
SET installLocale 'enUS'
SET portal 'us'
And not the enGB/eu counterparts.
